SUGGESTED CHARACTER SHEET TEMPLATE

Sketch:

A sketch is a really valuable way of visualising your character, but it's not the most important part of the character sheet.

Character Name: You can tell a lot about a character from his name

Gender: Where men are men, women are women, and small, blue furry creatures from Alpha Centauri are small, blue furry creatures from Alpha Centauri

Race/Species: Kind of speaks for itself.

Background: What brought the character to the point he's at today.

Extraordinary Traits/Abilities: Bear in mind that it's not the sort of game to have Spidey-Sense.

Major Deficiencies: Often, these define a character better than his/her abilities.

Favourite Thing: Try to make it fit the character's personality really well.

Physical Attributes: Is the character tall, short, strong, weak, beautiful?  Or a plate of blue jelly?

Unusual Mannerisms: Don't overdo this.

Mode of Speech - Accent: Perhaps the character has a favourite saying.

What makes them laugh: Probably Mr. Smoozles

What makes them cry: Probably Mr. Smoozles

Mode of Dress: If applicable.

Their work: Or how they spend their time if they don't work.

Mood swings: What triggers the changes?

Suggested gameplay role: This one I may ignore, but I'd be interested to see your thoughts.

Please feel free to add in any other categories you think will help your character design.  If you feel some are not important to your character, leave them out.

Have fun!
